Weekend and Forever

I just have to express how upset I am that I didn't get to go to Catching Fire with y'all. I was suppose to have a soccer tournament and when we got down there they informed us that is was cancelled. I was upset because I really wanted to go see it with you guys. I wish I could have come home sooner but we flew and there was only one flight back. I miss all of you and wish we could hang out more often.
I also wanted to post some quotes about friendship because I know its so important. I hope I have been a good friend even though I've been so busy with everything. I love you all and even tough we don't talk or hang out that much, i still consider us all "The Four Best Friends That Anyone Could Have". Maybe we could get together during Christmas time and go see Catching Fire together because I didn't get to go with you guys? I hope you will all have a great thanksgiving and eats lots! Love you all and hope you loved the movie and have happy holidays!

Amazing!!!!!!!

Just saw Catching fire and it was amazing, better than the first movie. I loved all the quotes from the book in the movie! Totally worth seeing!!! I hope you guys are as impressed as I was, already want to see it again!

Let's be honest here. We had some great times in years before. Now I hardly ever see you Tracy and Alessia! It's sad that we're not close friends anymore but we all have our own lives but share the same memories. There's been so many memories I can rembember. Like Alessia, that magical feeling. Good times in after school math help. Or balloon or crane or any of the code names we had. I still crack up when I remember how Ballon's code name came to be. I remember how we both indirectly inspired each other to write. We would read each other's work. I miss that. (Hint hint do you have anything you've been working on?) Oh or our Cato song! I still have it in my iPod! I read it today and wow we should be song composers. Or maybe not. Remember zombie prom? When we went to DI and bought dresses only to rip them up and paint our faces? I just want to thank you for your sincere friendship. I really know that you cared for me and you gave me so much support when I didn't have any other friends.
Tracy, Tracy. I don't know if she will ever read this, but I hope she does. Tracy, I love you. We've had so many amazing times and we've had so many great memories. I always think of EFY, those were the prime days. I loved EFY with you. Best week ever. Remember our COWs and our stalkers and eating that huge pizza and dancing to One Direction. Seriously some of the best days of my life. I remember way back in third grade when I first met you, I thought you were the coolest girl in the world. (Well, you are actually!) I just thought it even more because you told me you were in a scary movie. I seriously thought you were so cool. And then the adventures of our sewing class. Alessia was there too, and that was the best class I have ever taken. Not that I learned anything, but we had such a great time. I don't know if you will remember this but one day, you had you're hair down and you asked who you looked like from Harry Potter because of your hair, that's gorgeous girl. Anyways we guessed Harry. Nope. Hagrid. That was funny. Sorry if you don't find this as funny, but I smile when I think about it. We couldn't think of anyone else who's name started with H. Hogwarts? Nope. Hufflepuff? Nope. Then finally you shouted, "I'm Hermonie!" I just think that's so funny. So funny. Tracy you just make me laugh so hard, you are so funny.
And TJ. Orange Leaf and Hunger Games. The end. No just kidding. I know we aren't really great friends anymore, but that's ok. You have your friends, I have mine. We're both just into different things. But thanks for being a good example to me all those years.
Anyways my point is that we had great times! And remember them! As Edward de Bono put, "A memory is what is left when something happens and does not completely unhappen." Oh gosh, look what American Studies has done to me. I'm such a little nerd. Haha, anyways miss you and we should hang sometime soon! Love ya!

11/12/13

It's 11/12/13!!!! Next year it will be 12/13/14 and that's the last cool date we can have till the next century. :( well its okay because there is only a little more than a week till catching fire!!!!!!!! I can't wait.
Also how is high school going for everyone? What's going on? I haven't talked to any of you in so long! Hope everything is going well.

And also I saw TJ at the Beyond 5 concert last night! (Okay, it was so incredibly loud and hard to see, but other than that it was fun I guess.) They were great!

Tribute to Catching Fire

So since Catching Fire is coming out in less than 22 days I dressed up as Katniss!!! It's not the best costume because it was put together at the last second but I though it was pretty good. Also I didn't have a mockingjay pin because no stores had any in stock but I love you all and what were you for Halloween?

I seriously am sooooo excited to see this. It's less then a month away. Just think about it. By this time next month I will have already seen Catching Fire. Oh and also I have a confession to make concerning our beloved series. I've switched to Team Gale. Sorry, not sorry. Not as much in the third book, but at least when I was re-reading Catching Fire I realized I liked Gale way more then Peeta. Sorry he's just not my type! :) Anyways... Can't Wait! One last thing what are y'all going to be for Halloween?

New Catching Fire Trailer!!!!!

I just saw the new Catching Fire trailer and it was amazing!!! It premiered on TV and it was so good. They showed a lot of scenes from the arena. And now my happiness is over the top. I cant find it on the internet right now but hopefully it will show up soon.
Also do you think they released the last trailer today because it is 25 days away from the premier. But I don't know. I hope you all have fun seeing the premier and I wish I could see it with you. Have fun and "remember who the real enemy is."

25 days

It's unreal.

We started counting down from 100 something days, and we are here now.

"In the 25th Hunger Games, the citizens of the districts had to vote on who would compete in the Hunger Games as a way of reminding the rebels that the Capitol can enforce what it wants, when it wants, as a reminder to the districts that the Capitol is always powerful. The victor is unknown. Nothing is really known of this game."

This is why Catching Fire is rated PG-13. I'm a little nervous, to be honest, since they added the "suggestive situation" and "language." I just hope they stay as true to the book as possible without showing too much.
The thing is, the books hardly ever spelled out swear words. Ever. Of course, Haymitch and Johanna and other characters would say dirty things, but they were never written out for us to read and know. That's the only thing that will really frustrate me if they add lots of bad language. Altogether, I really think it will have worse content than The Hunger Games does. I'm VERY nervous for that. I want to be able to appreciate it and enjoy it the same way. So we'll see what happens. They wouldn't make it too bad, right? They kept their young audiences in mind when they wrote it and stuff, I hope.
Still excited, with a twinge of nervous.

2nd Quarter Quell

50 days till Catching Fire comes out. I'm so sad I can't see the premier and I wish I could but I wont be able to see in until the 25th :'( But make sure you don't ruin it for me by posting all about it.

50 Days

Hi! TJ, I am just worried that no one will post about this being 50 days until Catching Fire, so I'm just doing it real fast. :)

50 DAYS 'TIL CATCHING FIRE!! WAHOO!!!

The reason we do this is because there was a 75th, a 25th, and a 50th Quarter Quell. So yeah.

Beyond 5...Have You Heard of Them?

So, um...yeah. I felt inclined to post about this new Utah-based boy band called Beyond 5. I remember when they were in the audition process, because my cousin, Zac Love, was part of that process. My uncle and aunt would notify us if he moved on in auditions, and if they wanted to see more of him. They updated us until he finally became a member of the band! I believe he was one of--if not the--first members of the band. He's awesome, I'm so impressed.

Anyway, the point of this post is not to advertise this band, necessarily. It's to share some music that is wholesome, uplifting, and catchy and fun at the same time. Hope you enjoy.

I just wanted to congratulate Alyssa for Saturday. She ran a half marathon and I am so proud of her. I love her so much and I am so happy she did it. Love you Alyssa!

Catching Fire

Well 74 days till Catching Fire! I would have done it yesterday since Catching Fire contains the 75th Hunger Games or the Quarter Quell. So this is celebrating 75/74 days till Catching Fire comes out in theaters! So excited!

Sorry I posted twice but I was planning on posting 75 days away from the premier.

Journaling

I wanted to write about the importance of Journalism. I love to write in my journal. It is where I can anything about everything going on. Our leaders have taught us that writing in a journal is a really important thing and that it should be a routine in our daily lives.
When I was younger I didn't write in a journal. Now a lot of those memories are hard to remember. Since this summer I have started to write in my journal and I love it. I look forward to writing in my journal now.

I hope you write in your journal and if not learn to because I love to go back and read what I wrote because it just takes me back and I can remember things more clearly. Love you guys and miss you!

The Beginning

Everyone! Today is the very first day of the rest of our lives. (Like I've mentioned in my "Less is More" blog.)
Also, it is the very first day of September 2013. That's something to celebrate. As school has been going on and life has been getting crazier, it's nice to have a new beginning. Even if it's a small one.
I hope everyone is doing well. Start posting stuff that inspires you! I want to be inspired by you girls!

Alyssa: I believe. Because guess what? "Liking someone is a magical feeling." What is more magical than that? ;)

TJ: I remember how you were so good at jump rope. How in third grade, you made a big jump when you chose me as a friend. Thank you.

This is for three of my best friends: Only you girls will really know what this picture is all about. This is the reason I got "un-grounded." Because I came here with you.

I love you, Tracy, TJ, and Alyssa. You three have been a huge part of my life. For some reason, today I was reminded of those wonderful moments in life we have lived through together. And I wanted to remind you.Whether it has been eating fro yo, hanging out at the park, having fun in school together...it doesn't matter. It's all been a treasure.
